Tips for Filling Out the Application

• Educational History (page 2): Upload your unofficial Stanford transcript (do not request an official eTranscript). Please ensure your transcript is current as of the application deadline.

• Test Information (page 4): Please enter the test date, score, and percentile for all three sections of the GRE. Failure to complete this section accurately may negatively impact the review of your application. You may report scores from one test administration only (do not mix and match). If you have not yet taken the GRE or if you wish to use scores from a future test, please wait until the complete scores are available before submitting your application by the deadline.

• Resume/Curriculum Vitae (page 4): We encourage applicants to upload their resume/CV, but this is optional.

• References (page 6): Click "Submit Recommendation Request" as soon as each recommender is confirmed. Please do not wait for all of your letters of recommendation to be submitted before submitting your application; the online recommendation system will remain open for your recommenders until they submit their letter.

Please check your entire application for accuracy before submission, as changes are not permitted after submission. Submitting your application early does not affect your chances of admission; all applications are reviewed after the deadline.
